2010 Offshore Rules HEAVIEST STRINGER PRIZES
** The above cash payout is based on a 60 boat entry. 1) The Treasure Coast Gator Bait Classic is open to all who want to enter. All fish must be taken on a rod and reel. This is not an IGFA tournament. 2) The enry fee is $300 per boat through April 28th, 2010. 3) Tournament Headquarters will be the Ft. Pierce City Marina (1 Avenue A, Ft. Pierce, FL 34950) 4) Captain's Meeting will begin at 6:30 pm on April 30, 2010. Registration will be available from 5:00 to 8:30 pm. 5) There are no boundaries to this tournament. 6) Check-out will be at 7:00 am. Boats may begin checking out at 6:30 am with the check-out boat located in the Fort Pierce inlet, and may hold at the first set of sea bouys east of the inlet until check-out time at 7:00 am. 7) The Tournament will be held Saturday, May 1, 2010. 8) No refunds of any kind will be made for any reason. 9) Any boat in direct physical contact with another boart without permission of a committee person wil be disqualified. If a boat intends to give aid or rescue to another vessel, a committee person should first be notified via VHF CHANNEL 72 of location and purpose...conditions permitting. 10) Weigh-in will be at Tournament Headquarters at the Ft. Pierce City Marina starting at 3:00 pm. All boats planning to weigh fish must check-in with the check-in boat located in the Ft. Pierce Inlet by 5:00 pm. 11) Dolphin, Kingfish, Cobia and Wahoo are the eligible species to be weighed. Only one stringer may be weighed in per boat; a stringer will be considt of up to one fish per pecies. Boats ARE ONLY ELIGIBLE TO WIN ONE PLACE in the tournament with the exception of Junior and Lady Angler prizes. Prizes will be paid for the top seven heaviest stringers weighed. 12) In the case of a tie, the first boat weighed in by time will be awarded the higher place 13) The Tournament Committee, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to refuse awards and to make changes, additions, deletions or modifications of these rules, regulations or awards being posted, announced, or otherwise disseminted. The Tournament shall be goverened by the Tournament Committee of the Treasure Coast Gator Club, and the Tournament Committee has the full authority to prescribe and interpret the rules and regulations of this tournament. Nothing in any of these rules and regulations shall be construed to limit or restrict the Tournament Committee's authority in these matters. 14) Participants in the Treasure Coast Fishing Tournament enter at their own risk. Officials, committe members, sponsors and all persons directly or indirectly connected with the University of florida, Treasure Coast Gator Club (Tournament Group), or with the operation of the tournament will be exempt for any liability for loss, damage, negligence, harm or injury suffered to any participant, entrant, angler, sport fishermen, their companions, boat captains, crew members, vessels and equipment which may occur during this tournament. Participants agree to indemnify the Tournament Group to the fullest extent, incuding reasonable attorney's fees, in the event of any loss sustained by the Tournament Group resulting from or related to the participant's participation in the Tournament.
